About listings

JobsAlertSA publishes job and opportunity listings supplied by employers or gathered from public sources such as official vacancy circulars and company career pages. We review listings and remove those that break our standards, but we can’t guarantee that every listing is accurate, current or legitimate. Always confirm details with the employer or the official source before applying.

JobsAlertSA is not the employer and is not a recruitment agency. We are not involved in hiring decisions.

How to spot a job scam

  • You’re asked to pay. Legitimate employers don’t charge for applications, training, uniforms, medical tests or “processing”.
  • The offer is too good to be true — high pay for little work, or a job offer without an interview.
  • Contact only via WhatsApp or a personal email address (e.g. Gmail) for a large company or government department.
  • Requests for banking PINs, OTPs or ID copies before you’ve been interviewed.
  • Pressure to act immediately.

If you see a suspicious listing, use the Report this job button on the job page. If you’ve lost money, report it to the South African Police Service.
